Agentic Trading
Create goal-driven AI agents that read the market, decide to buy, sell or hold, and trade through the Boss Traders Flow Execution Engine — always inside hard guardrails that you set and the platform enforces.

What a trading agent is
A trading agent is an AI model with a goal, a budget and a set of guardrails. You describe what it should do in plain language — for example “accumulate BTC on dips with small, disciplined entries” — pick the pairs it may trade and how much capital it may use.
On each run the agent studies the market, decides BUY, SELL or HOLD, and explains its reasoning. It can only trade inside the limits you set, and it uses the same order and margin engine as every other trade on the platform.
How a run works
- Market data — live prices, 1h candles with EMA 20/50, RSI 14 and ATR 14, order-flow imbalance and Boss Traders AI signals (optional).
- Account context — the agent’s own budget used, holdings and P&L, your balances and your Unified Margin health.
- AI decision — the model returns one action (BUY, SELL or HOLD), a size in USD, a stop-loss, a take-profit, a confidence score and its reasoning.
- Guardrail checks — the platform, not the AI, checks every limit before anything is sent. A failed check blocks the trade and is logged.
- Execution — approved trades are sent as a MARKET entry through the Execution Engine & Smart Order Routing, with a stop-loss / take-profit OCO bracket, and are re-checked against Unified Margin.
Approve first or Autopilot
- Approve first (default) — the agent proposes a trade with its reasoning and guardrail checks. Nothing executes until you approve it. Proposals expire after 30 minutes.
- Autopilot — trades that pass every guardrail execute automatically. Blocked trades are never sent.
- You can switch modes, edit guardrails, pause or delete an agent at any time.
The 8 hard guardrails
- Spending cap — total capital the agent may have deployed at once.
- Max order size — the largest single order the agent may place.
- Allowed pairs — the agent can only trade the markets you select.
- Max trades per day — a daily limit on executed trades.
- Daily loss limit — if the agent’s realized plus unrealized loss for the day reaches the limit, it is paused automatically.
- Margin health limit — trades are blocked if your account margin utilization would exceed your limit.
- Mandatory stop-loss — every buy gets a stop-loss no wider than your maximum; the platform adds one if the model omits it.
- Global kill switch — “Pause all agents” stops every agent and expires every pending proposal in one click.
Scheduling and AI usage
Active agents run on their interval (every 15 to 60 minutes) while Boss Traders Flow is open in your browser, and you can trigger a run at any time with “Run now”. Each run that reaches the AI model uses AI credits.
To keep usage low, a run skips the AI call when there is nothing the agent could do — for example when it has used its trade limit or budget for the day.
The decision journal
Every run is recorded: holds, proposals, approvals, rejections, blocked trades with the exact guardrail that stopped them, expired proposals and executed orders. Each entry keeps the AI’s reasoning, the market snapshot it saw and the guardrail results, so you can audit every decision later.
Not financial advice
Trading agents are a demo feature running on demo balances. AI decisions can be wrong, and guardrails limit risk but cannot remove it. Nothing an agent proposes or executes is financial advice or a recommendation to buy or sell any asset, and you remain responsible for every agent you run.
Crypto assets are highly volatile and you can lose some or all of your capital.
